Delhi is home to the best restaurants serving up the best food, drinks, and experiences. If you’re a food lover, enjoy trying out new places, or find yourself gravitating towards iconic restaurants. Here is the only list you need for the best most bankable places. From cafes, and bars, to OG restaurants, here’s LBB’s list of the best of the best you’ll find in Delhi NCR, where you are guaranteed to have a great time.

1. Leo’s Pizzeria, New Delhi

Probably the one place all pizza addicts flock to whenever they want to have delicious, light, fresh, beautiful wood-fired pizza. Leo’s Pizzeria is THE place to experience pizza made with love, care, and effort. Staying true to their USP, the menu has only pizza (and salads), with a sans-cheese option for vegans as well. The place serves a good collection of beers and wines as well. The place is dedicated to dogs, all their walls bear the love. You’ll also see lots of strays flocking to the Vasant Vihar joint to get their daily dose of pets and fresh food.

Must-Try: Burrata Pesto

2. Perch, Khan Market

It’s never not a good time at Perch. The smell of fresh, handmade pasta, sangrias and coffee martinis pouring, and the chatter of old friends catching up at their usual spot. The place has seen first dates just as much as it has group hangs and solo dates. Both the vibe of the place and the menu are fit for both brunches, coffee dates, and dinners.

Must-Try: Handmade Tagliatelle, Croissant with Basil, Tomato, and Mozzarella Cheese, Soft Tacos, Iced Vietnamese Coffee, Sangria

3. Kylin, Vasant Kunj

Table,Furniture,Plant,Property,Building,Chair,Flowerpot,Interior design,Houseplant,Wood

If you have a bias for Asian food, add Kylin to the list of restaurants you HAVE TO visit. While it is priced a bit towards the higher-end side of things, the experience more than makes up for it. The house cocktails are well-made and potent, the menu is inclusive for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, and they have a live Teppanyaki grill for those who like to see their food be prepared in front of them.

Must-Try: Trio Mushroom Teppanyaki

4. Grammar Room, Mehrauli

Furniture,Table,Chair,Lighting,Interior design,Houseplant,Plant,Barware,Event,Leisure

The Grammar Room in Mehrauli is backed by Olive Bar & Kitchen and the food here is just as good as the place. They’ve got a very cool tropical theme going on with big windows, white walls, floral cushions and ample lighting. Their extensive menu offers continental and fast food. We’re big fans of their Avo toast and coffee paired with the outdoor seating and a view of the forest.

Must-Try: Mushroom Melt, Spicy Fries, French Toast

5. Ping’s Bia Hoi, Gurgaon

Ping’s Bia Hoi at One Horizon in Gurgaon has a laidback, chill vibe that we love. Expect wooden rattan chairs, a wall filled with art and road signs, and constant chatter that keeps the place alive. It’s almost always packed, so make sure to get a reservation. While this place doesn’t serve sushi, the menu includes soups, salads, baos, ramen, dim sums, noodles, Thai curry, and more, all of which are super fresh and flavourful. The price for two is around INR 1,700.

Must Try: Philadelphia Cream Cheese Dumplings, Green Thai Curry, Choco Glutinous Dumplings

6. Evoo, Geetanjali Enclave

Table,Furniture,Property,Picture frame,Interior design,Chair,Hall,Building,Event,Ceiling

When it comes to Italian, Evoo is usually one of the top ones on our list. They’ve got the most flavour-packed pizzas, sandwiches, pastas and Panuozzo (a type of Italian Sandwich). They do almost everything in-house—from the bread to the toppings, everything’s fresh, and the delicious food backs that claim.

Must-Try: Lamb Shank, Gnocchi, Pepperoni Pizza

7. Yum Yum Cha, Saket

One of the most prominent names when it comes to Pan Asian food, and it’s safe to say that the place doesnt disappoint. They have multiple outlets across Delhi NCR offering the best of sushi and dim sums.

Must-try: Sushi Boat, Takoyaki Japanese Dumplings

8. Carnatic Cafe, New Delhi

South Indian isn’t something we usually opt for, but whenever we do, it’s Carnatic Cafe. Their dosas are on point, vadas are crisp and Idlis are as soft as we’d imagine clouds to be. The value-for-money price point is an added bonus as well.

Must-Try: Idli, Ghee Roast Masala Dosa

9. Burma Burma

We still remember questioning samosa soup at Burma Burma as we sat to order here for the first time. Since then, the restaurant has become one of our favourites and samosa soup, our comfort dish. Burma Burma is a vegetarian Burmese restaurant that packs a punch of flavour in all their dishes. If you like Burmese or are looking to try it, definitely head here.

Offering the best of North and South Indian food, Bhawan in Gurgaon has good service, good music and an elaborate menu. What we really love here though, is the street food.  From the usual chaat and samosa to corn bhel and vada pao with the addition of surprises like a bacon kachori and varqi lukhmi, crisp puff pastry patties filled with spicy chicken mince.

Must-Try: Chicken Bharta, Matar Kachori, Chole Bhature

11. Juggernaut

The one place we head to whenever we’re in search for wholesome healthy food is Fig. They have two outlets in NCR, one at Malcha Marg, which is an art gallery and cafe, and the OG one in Gurgaon, which is a camera museum. Their desserts are SO good and coffee is roasted in-house too.

Must-Try: Mushroom Tagliatelle, Avocado Toast

14. Inja

Inja is a recently opened restaurant at The Manor House, but one that has definetly left a mark. It’s a bled of Indian and Japanese cuisine and it’s literally perfect. It’s the brainchild of chef Adwait Anantwar, who clearly knows what he’s doing. Each dish has the perfect balance of flavours and weirdly makes sense. We’re still dreaming about the food we had here.

Must-Try: Udon Khasi Curry, Shiso Leaf Banarasi Chaat

15. YouMee

If you’re looking for two things n the city—truffle-infused food and absolutely gorgeous-looking authentic Italian, then you must go to Cafe Dali if you haven’t already. Masters at making their own pastas, fresh and artisanal, and also serving the best European truffles, this place has our heart. Go here for if you’re feeling the need for a fancy dinner or a quiet birthday with your partner.

Safe to say, Gulati’s has been a part of all our childhood memories involving a family outing. The food is to die for when it comes to being authentic, and super wholesome. The service is always great, and the crowds are always galore! When we’re in the mood for the best North Indian, we know where to go.

18. Ping’s

A fairly recent haunt that deserves a place on this list—Ping’s is all about being a super chill and laid-back casual space that offers the best of health-conscious Asian meals and cocktails, along with their extensive gluten-free and vegan options. We hear their cocktails are fabulous too.

Must-Try: Cocktails, Chilli Baby Potatoes, Bao

19. Rajinder Da Dhaba

Another favourite for super wholesome North India food, Rajinder Da Dhaba has stood the test of time. The food is always spot-on, and with several outlets spread across Delhi, you don’t have to go very far away from your neighbourhood to spot one. Perfect for post-drinks dinner with friends.

Must-Try: Veg Malai Tikka, Makhmali Fish, Gaulauti Kebab

20. Mamagoto

Pan Asian lovers usually gravitate towards Mamagoto for their sizable but potent menu that covers pretty much everything from sushi to noodles to arguably the best dim sums in town. They also have a bar, which is much appreciated, with a great selection of drinks and cocktails. From dinner dates to corporate hangs, this place is a must-visit any time of the year.

Must-Try: Chilli Tofu, Street Style Dim sums, Wan Chai Chicken, Thai Green Curry

21. Karim’s

Table,Furniture,Property,Chair,Interior design,Wood,Floor,Real estate,Flooring,Hardwood

You cannot possibly live in Delhi and never have visited or wanted to visit Karim’s. With the OG outlet tucked away in the lanes of Nizamuddin, we’ve seen the restaurant spread out across the city (lucky for us). If you’re a fan of all things non-vegetarian when it comes to food, and want to try authentic Dilli Awadhi food then get ready for a feast! The portions are generous, it is affordable, and the service is quick.

Must-Try: Mutton Nihari, Chicken Keema Paratha, Phirni, Raan

22. Khan Chacha

Kebabs hold a special place in all of our hearts, and no one does them better than Khan Chachha. A spot older than time, Khan Chaccha’s outlets are peppered throughout Delhi NCR. You’ll find them outside malls, metro stations, and even popular markets. Not to be dramatic, but their galouti and kakori kebabs are to die for and come pretty close to Lucknow’s kebabs. Tucked neatly in a soft rumali roti, Khan Chacha will always have our heart.

Must-Try: Kakori and Gulaoti rolls
