Suburban McLeodganj, located in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, is a part of Dharamshala. It is sometimes referred to as India’s Little Lhasa. The café provides a perfect environment for people to socialize, take in the Dhauladars’ natural splendor, and take in live music. The rooftop café features comfortable mattresses and seating cushions, making it the perfect example of a hippie café. You can listen to your preferred music on their Bluetooth speakers. In terms of cuisine, sample their moussakas, pizzas, and tacos.

The Other Space

Many of the regulars of McLeodganj were devastated when the well-known book café Illiterati closed its doors last year. Cafe Illiterati was, after all, a literary and culinary haven for connoisseurs. However, its fantastic owner, Julian Urban, has opened a brand-new cafe directly across from Illiterati. We refer to it as The Other Space. They now function as a charming co-working space and tiny art gallery cafe. There are seats accessible outside as well. Regular art exhibits and book releases are also held at the cafe. Authentic Tibetan cuisine is a must-try during any visit to McLeodganj. And Tibet Kitchen is the best spot to do that. One of the three floors of the well-known cafe is completely devoted to a lounge. Most of the time, they are crowded with travelers from all over the world. The wonderful things about Tibet Kitchen are their incredibly friendly personnel and big quantities. Every dish served here, including the crowd-favorite momos and the thukpa, a Tibetan noodle soup, will make you fall in love with Tibetan cuisine. Thenthuk, a famous Tibetan noodle soup made with grains and vegetables, is not to be missed.

The most beloved bakery in McLeodganj is without a doubt Woeser Bakery, which is situated directly next to Carpe Diem Cafe. For an amazing selection of sweet sweets and cappuccino, you should definitely visit this charming bakery. They also provide gluten-free and vegan choices. The bakery/café is well-known for its carrot cake and handcrafted cappuccinos, which draw repeat customers. They make delicious ginger lemon honey tea and cakes and muffins from scratch.
